Daily Update for 4/13/2020. Easter Sunday was a great day. Printed until 3am and was up at 9am for breakfast. Got in a total of 13 prints, so 91 ear savers were made which is a daily personal best! I noticed some unusual high frequency noises coming from inside the print head which warranted a full disassembly of the print head for maintenance. Just like a bicycle or car it needs to be maintained to run at peak performance, and I don't think it gets more 'peak' and printing for 16+ hours a day for the last 7 days. After the tune up I started a print around 1 that will take 3 hours so I can listen for any more off noises before I resume printing ear savers. The GoFundMe is 45 dollars from the first major milestone, $1000 dollars and I am so grateful to everyone who has contributed to this campaign. 10 dollars or triple digits, it all adds up. This coming week I have a request for 100 going to Detroit, two orders heading to Wisconsin, and an order of 50 heading to a Dialysis treatment center in Georgia. I can't wait for these new printers to get here, this bottle neck is hindering, but it won't be around for long! I hope everyone had a great Easter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help. And if anyone knows of or works at a hospital that needs Ear Savers please message me directly on my public IG @WeMakeThings3D so I can get some aid to them ASAP!!!
